HYDGEN Wins Runner-Up and People’s Choice at Cleantech Open Global Forum 2025
HYDGEN – Hydrogen Innovation Pte Ltd has been named Runner-Up and People’s Choice Winner at the Cleantech Open Global Forum 2025, the world’s largest and longest-running cleantech accelerator.
HYDGEN was awarded Runner-Up and People's Choice Winner among six national finalists at the Cleantech Open Global Forum, which brought together more than 90 startups from across the U.S. and around the world. HYDGEN was recognized for its approach to safe, cost-effective hydrogen transport, reimagining existing natural gas pipeline infrastructure for hydrogen delivery. This innovation addresses one of the key barriers to hydrogen adoption — the high cost and safety risks of current transport methods — and accelerates the shift toward a more resilient and sustainable energy system.
Backed by Moringa Ventures, HYDGEN is pioneering the next generation of Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) electrolyzers and decentralized hydrogen systems, enabling industries to produce hydrogen on-site and at scale. The recognition at Cleantech Open underscores HYDGEN’s growth in advancing green hydrogen innovation from Asia to the global stage.
Cleantech Open has supported over 4,000 entrepreneurs since its founding, helping raise more than US$4 billion in funding and creating thousands of jobs in the clean economy. HYDGEN’s achievement at the 2025 Global Forum marks a significant milestone in its mission to make hydrogen accessible, affordable, and emission-free.
